Onehunga Springs

This source was developed by the former Onehunga Borough Council. Water is pumped from the Onehunga springs, treated, then pumped to the level required for supply in the Onehunga area. In 1997 the capacity increased from 8,000 cubic metres a day to 21,000 cubic metres.
